Emily is the founder and sole owner of Redbud Tax Services. She started her career as a social worker, dedicating her time and energy to helping individuals and families navigate their challenges. The core of her work was always about understanding people’s needs and finding solutions – skills that have proven incredibly useful as a tax professional. Emily realized that her passion for helping others could extend beyond social work.

Not wanting to settle for a basic understanding of taxation, Emily became licensed as an Enrolled Agent, the highest credential offered by the IRS. Since then she has focused on research-based services to give clients confidence and peace of mind.
Emily currently lives in Knoxville, Tennessee but loves exploring other cultures and landscapes with her husband. She says, “I think that we can learn something valuable from everyone we meet – let’s have a chat to see what we can learn from one another!”
